Toadlily and Ligularia
They start blooming when the summer flowers are finishing their best time. It seems that they are telling the end of autumn and that winter is coming soon.

Toadlily ( Tricyrtis )
It's called a little cukoo, but I'd been wondering if this flower looks like the bird. I knew later the reason. The pattern of the flower looks like the patterns of the feather of cuckoo, and it was named after the bird.

Farfugium japonicum (ligularia )
I hear that the gardens of tea ceremony rooms have been planted with this tree from old days. There are several different kinds of ligularia. Each has different colors of flowers, or different blooming time.
