Acalypha (Foxtail, red-hot cat's tail )
Acalypha, foxtail, red cattail
Though it's called cat's tail in Japanese, I hear that one of its common name in English is fox's tail. Both are good name to express the interesting form of this flower, I think.
It remains the color for more than a week, but I cut it to have the next flower earlier, before the color turns blackish.
It is strong in hot summer but rain makes the color worse. It needs careful watering.
