There are so many kinds that are called cuphea, and each has different color and different shape, I hear. It might be difficult to tell which is which.
My cuphea has reddish purple flowers and narrow leaves. Maybe this is one of them that is called Mexican cuphea.
 | We had heavy rain and strong wind by typhoon, and many of my flowers was damaged. This was blown away by wind and it was completely dry when I found it. After I replanted and watered it everyday, it came to life again. How wonderful the plant has such amazing ability to survive! |
