When I arrived at a hotel in Jasper,I found that Jasper was the sister city of Hakone in Kanagawa prefecture. Hakone is one of the most beautiful and popular town in our prefecture. This is the plate that tells their relationship.
There was a Japanese garden and stone lantern. Blue Japanese irises were blooming. The plate says that the stone lantern was sent to celebrate their friendship and the garden was built to commemorate their relationship.
This hotel is located near the mountain side and I saw wild lives in the forest backyard of the hotel.
This is Jasper railroad station. Jasper is the destination station of VIA from Vancouver.
I went to Maligne Lake. It was a beautiful glacier lake that had a small island called "Spirit Island". I enjoyed comfortable cruising. And I saw elks.
I saw lovely wild flowers.
I saw wild lives.
I was impressed with the beautiful scenery and really enjoyed the great Mother Nature in this travel.
